Centralized at the heart of South Kanara district and extending its influence globally, the Beary community takes immense pride in the iconic Beary Community Building in Bengaluru. Beyond remarkable individual achievements, this architectural gem symbolizes collective generosity and visionary construction, ensuring a lasting legacy that honors the invaluable contributions of the esteemed Beary elders.
The Beary Building stands as a testament to the late B.A Moiuddeen’s visionary dream, brought to life by the Beary Building Construction Committee under the leadership of Mr. Sayyed Mohammed Beary. This grand edifice was inaugurated on September 30, 2023, under the Chairmanship of Mr. B.M. Farooq. The esteemed presence of Karnataka’s Chief Minister, Shri Siddaramaiah, and Deputy Chief Ministers, Mr. D.K. Shivakumar, added to the significance of the inauguration ceremony.
The Bengaluru Bearys’ remarkable contribution stands as a beacon of community solidarity, fostering collaboration of Bearys’ globally, and advocating for their representation in politics, society, and education, alongside nurturing the rich cultural heritage, arts, and identity. This building is envisioned to empower the community to excel in economic and research-driven initiatives, while also providing secure and convenient hostel accommodations for young women pursuing employment and education from various towns. With its spacious auditorium, efficient management, service amenities, and commercial infrastructure for economic self-sufficiency, the Corporate Model Bearys Building in Bengaluru’s HBR layout is an architectural marvel, seamlessly blending visual appeal with excellent functioning.
The “Beary Sauharda Bhavana,” emerging as a hub for holistic development and camaraderie, has been constructed at an approximate cost of 16 crore rupees. While the government has contributed six crore rupees as part of community development, the rest of the amount has been generously funded by collective members and entrepreneurs of the Beary community.
The “Beary Sauharda Bhavana” boasts various amenities. Within its towering edifice spanning five impressive levels, the ground floor beckons with a majestic reception area, expansive halls exuding elegance, and meticulously designed boardrooms, all complemented by modern washroom facilities. On Ascending to the first floor, the grandeur unfolds with a magnificent main auditorium and stage, promising a venue worthy of the most prestigious events and cherished gatherings. On Venturing further to the second floor, a serene women’s hall awaits, adorned with grace, alongside a tranquil prayer room. Ascending higher, two floors stand devoted to luxurious hostel or PG accommodations, while atop the structure, a charming canteen graces the rooftop terrace, offering a delightful retreat. And below ground, a parking facility ensures access and convenience for all.
