Early Life and career
Mr. A.H. Noushad Haji Suralpadi was born on 1st June, 1979 to parents A.M. Bava Arala and Nafeesa at Arala, Bantwal. Having completed his primary education in Government primary School (Koila), he pursued his higher primary education in Malali Higher Primary School, Bantwal. From a high school dropout to a flower vendor to begin with, he went on to become a renowned social worker and a successful business man. Driven by the constant urge to improve the lots of his community by focusing on the ills that are detrimental to their well-being and development, Mr. Noushad Haji’s life is really an inspiration.
Social concern and contributions
As a man of social concern, he believed that education and communal harmony is important for the development of the society. Mr. A.H. Noushad Haji learnt that the community is in need of support and contributions in every field. He always had a desire in him to work for the community. His philosophy in life is to serve the community at any cost. He conducted several Mass marriages to support the poor and financially backward families of the community in the year 2002. He collaborated with different organizations and NGO’S to conduct several social awareness programs. His dream is to live in a Dowry free society.
Mr. A.H. Noushad Haji believes in the power and potential of the youth and encourages their ideas for the development of the nation. He believes that education is the most powerful weapon which can change the world and every child has a right to education as much as to life. A.H. Noushad Haji Built masjids and educational institutions in Bijapura and coastal areas where efforts were put up to show a better path to the present generation.
Due to the Dowry system in the Muslim community, the number of unmarried girls in their 30’s were relatively high. As a solution to this problem, Mr. A.H. Noushad Haji introduced a new project named ‘NANDE PENGAL’. This very project helped more than 100 girls aged above 30 hailing from poor financial backgrounds get married. Mr. A.H. Noushad Haji is a well- known, socially connected person who worked with many other intellectuals, ulamas and businessmen to accomplish great things for the development and welfare of the society. He has been like a one-man-army set out to demolish all the evils which are causing havoc to the society and is not going to rest until he is able to achieve tangible results.
Interests and association
Apart from being a hardworking professional, he takes pleasure in reading books and meeting new people. He visits areas all over Karnataka to analyze the problems and difficulties faced by the people. He also serves as a president and chairman in various organizations such as SYS Gurupura Range, Al Misbah Foundation, Darunoor Education Center, Sadbavana Vedike, Muneerul Islam Young Men’s Association etc.
