B.A. SHAKOOR HAJI

Early Life and Career

Mr. B.A. Shakoor Haji was born on 21^st March, 1961 to parents B.A. Khader and Ayesha at Bolwar, Puttur. Having completed his school education at Bolwar Higher Primary School, he pursued his higher education at Government Junior College, Kombattu and Vivekanandha College. From a fancy store worker to begin with, he went on to become a successful businessman. In the year 1986, he went to Abu Dhabi and started working as an Accountant. After 10 years of service, Mr. Haji returned to India and started the PWD Contract work. Furthermore, he started City Tours and Travels along with Hajj and Umrah services at Puttur.

Social concern and contributions

Mr. B.A. Shakoor Haji is a man of social concern. His dream is to develop a proper management system for the Jamath committee which enables the members of the committee to understand the problems of the society and help them find solutions to these problems which in turn results in the development of the committee. In order to achieve this, Mr. Haji is working on a Kallaga Jamath Improvement Project and aims to make this project a model project which would be a huge help to the committee.

Interests and association

Apart from being a hardworking professional, Mr. B.A. Shakoor Haji takes pleasure in reading and social activities. Mr. B.A. Shakoor Haji believes in the power and potential of the youth and encourages their ideas for the development of the nation. He is involved in several social organizations.
