The Hostel for Muslim Young Women in Bangalore

Is this a five star hotel? Do not immediately decide whether it is an IT company. This is the effort of G.A Bava who said how Waqf money and property could be used for the welfare of Muslims. Recognizing the need for a hostel for Muslim youth, the construction has provided hundreds of young women with modern facilities. The hostel is clean and well equipped with a courtyard, room, dining room, library, computer center, and more. It is understandable that G.A Bawa built it as his own home. The hostel is completely free and has students from all over the state. There is also an open space for young girls to perform Namaz and are safe from distractions.

G.A Bava belongs to the Beary community and is a decorated Karnataka Police Officer who has received the President’s Shourya Prashasthi. He has now dedicated his service to the minority commission from the last few years and currently serves as the chairman.

For many decades, there was a demand for a hostel for young Muslim women in Bangalore. No one fulfilled it. Now, GA Bava managed with diligence and won our hearts. Another achievement is the free dialysis center that he built here after his presidency at the Hamid Shah Complex. The property of Waqf is now home to hundreds of patients. There are ten dialysis machines in this hygienic clinic that are not available in a private hospital which benefits about 700 patients a month. This free facility is a ray of hope for patients irrespective of religion or any other boundaries. We commend Mr. G.A Bava on his efforts and relentless service.
