The Muslim community today along the lines of development has begun numerous undertakings nationwide. Propagating development, it is in the social and educational fields that a majority of work is being carried out.
Here is an institution called Noorul Huda Islamic Academy, located in Madannoor. Puttur, Well-known due to the historical Madanoor Masjid, this is a highly visited place in Karnataka that holds a valuable piece of Islamic History. The Muslim generation of the future must aspire to become contributors in the contemporary world, and this institution functions as a training facility, attempting to instill knowledge and vision in the upcoming generation though the residents of the locality are purely depended on agriculture & are farmers.
With the dream of transforming this farming village into a modern centre of knowledge, a group of like-minded people with the guidance of the Jamaath Committee established the Noorul Huda Educational & Charitable Trust on the 19th of August, 2015
The Muslim community divided learning into religious and worldly education. Removing this misconception, Noorul Huda attempted to incorporate both under one roof.
Noorul Huda Madannoor is affiliated to Darul Huda Islamic University, Chemmad, Kerala, a prestigious institute in the world, creating generations of competitors in the global scenario, and it is this curriculum that Noorul Huda follows in its methods. Emphasizing on both Deen and Duniya, one who completes the course will be capable of religious propagation throughout the world along with success in various modern fields.
Noorul Huda education centre is evidence for the willpower, dedication, and social concern of the Muslim community. Surrounded by beautiful views of nature and plenty of greenery, providing all modern facilities, construction work of Noorul Huda education centre is happening in full swing.
Functioning as a beacon of hope for hundreds of children, Noorul Huda has faced numerous challenges, but has endured, just to put a smile on the faces of these children and create a strong, beautiful, empowered community of the future. This campus houses children from different parts of Kerala and Karnataka and has taken them into its portals. In order to provide for and fulfill their requirements, Trustees, NRI and local donors are working round the clock, all for one goal – Noorul Huda.
Noorul huda strives to shape a new generation of Muslims, who are research oriented and participate in different fields of humanitarian services. In just 3 years, over 135 students are pursuing the Hudavi degree. The only criteria here is merit and talent, not influence or social position. Students who attain merit in the Darul Huda entrance exam are selected for a 12 year Hudavi course. Perks include food, clothing, accommodation, and study material, absolutely free of cost.
Noorul Huda Islamic Academy campus includes Noorul Huda Masjid, Noorul Huda Islamic academy, Noorul Huda hostel, and all the required facilities for it to potentially grow into an empowered, fully functioning educational institution. The teaching faculty comprises of the best professional Hudavis imparting quality education. Renowned scholar and thinker Haneef Hudavi serves as the principal at this institute. Spacious classrooms, computer labs, library, playground are the benefits enjoyed by the students here at Noorul Huda Islamic academy.
Students are taught skillfully in multiple languages – Kannada, English, Arabic, Urdu, and so on. Through this means, they are made aware of communication, literature, research, business oriented language skills which is necessary in today’s world. Noorul Huda teaches the Arabic language to students, giving a deeper understanding of Quran and Islamic Literature which was lost on the previous generation. Noorul Huda’s beautifully carved Islamic Environment helps students to build their personality and enhances morality by molding them as ethical and bright professionals who are prepared with Islamic ideals for evolution of the world and service to humanity.
In addition to providing book knowledge of Islam and modern fields, Noorul Huda cherishes and encourages students to develop in their interested fields. Agriculture and farming, sports and arts are the talents recognized. Elocution, debate, skill training, are provided to inspire students in all opportunistic activities.
Noorul huda charitable and educational trust has joined hands with the NRI community. More than 600 people across the Middle East strive together for the purpose of this education revolution. The dynamic and capable youth and NRIs with absolute concern for the community are conducting various programs in the middle east for the welfare of Noorul Huda and its development. Contributing a part of their earnings along with fund raising activities are some of the valuable services rendered by the NRI community for the overall growth of Noorul Huda.

In the centuries soon after the prophet, Muslims contributed massively to the fields of mathematics, science, warfare, navigation, astronomy, administration, teaching, and benefiting fields, creating a golden era in the history of Islam. Today’s generation has failed in the global sector and has become a reactive one. We have a beautiful structure and enduring vision. Effective planning and implementation with dedication will definitely lead us to become a model generation globally, bringing back the golden age. It is with this intention that Noorul Huda is functioning today to restore glory.
Noorul Huda Education Centre is being carried out in full swing and students are coming in large numbers. To fulfill their educational needs, we are in need of invaluable support from the community and society. The planned, unique building is under construction and completing it with beautiful finishing touches is our responsibility. Together with our efforts, the next, resourceful generation and community will achieve heights.
Future projects –
Administration service training – in spite of awareness and facilities, Muslim participation in the civil services remains low. Noorul huda has proposed a centre for training potential candidates and civil service aspirants.
Hadees research – the wisdom of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has resounded for centuries. Taking this to a new level, Noorul Huda aims to integrate the life and message of the prophet through thorough practice.
Polytechnic – the present world of technology has huge opportunities. To grab benefits, Noorul Huda is planning to establish a polytechnic centre to provide detailed technical knowledge to skilled candidates.
Donors, NRIs, locals, wellwishers, and everyone else will go a long way into the future in giving a monumental contribution to the community, nation, and world at large, In Sha Allah.

Hudawi Program
12 year program of DHIU consists of Secondary (5 years), senior Secondary (2 years), under graduation (3 years), Post graduation (2 years). The two year PG stands as a culmination of the DHIU program providing specialization in particular topics.
DHIU model of education put an end to the widespread feeling that religious education is the choice of students who are either financially poor or less talented and under-skilled. It only selects bright and talented students irrespective of their background after conducting written and oral examinations.
