Mr. Muhammed Badoor
Mohammaad Baddoor is a Beary writer, poet, critic, and journalist. He is also the recipient of Beary Academy and Kalaranga awards.
Early life and Career
Mr. Muhammed Badoor was born on 18th January, 1949 to parents Usthad Ibrahim Haji and Fathima at Badoor. Having completed his school education at St. Joseph higher elementary School, Meramejal and Benjanapadav Government high School, he pursued his pre-university education at Canara PU College. After completing his education, Mr. Badoor starting working under the diary business owned by his father. From 1969 – 1971, he worked as a supervisor under a PW contractor at Chikmaglur and moved to Mumbai In the year 1971.
After a year he moved to Vasco, Goa and started working in the ship spare parts field. In 1976, he travelled to Dubai and started working as a ground supervisor at GNATA. After 1982, he flew back to India and started working as a manager at M.A. Fisheries
Mohammad Baddoor loved the idea of poetry. He used to attend several workshops, seminars and programs related to literature and poetry. He is a gifted and extraordinary poet. He conveyed his feelings, expressions and experience through his poems. In the year 1997 he decided to choose the field of literature and poetry as his career. He published his first anthology of poems named Kammane in the year 1997, a kannada essay named Siddilu in the year 2000 followed by Badoora Saddugalu in the year 2015, another collection of poems.
He was bestowed the title ‘KANNADA KABIRA’ by Karnataka State teacher Prathibaparishath. Maharashtra’s Ranga Milan Mumbai bestowed Mr. Muhammed Badoor with the title ‘ABHINAVA DHRONACHARYA’.
Mr.Muhammed Badoor wrote over 1000 poems including 250 Kannada poems. He also participated in National Sahitya Sammelana 4 consecutive times. Viswa Tulu Sammelana is a prestigiuous event held only 4 times till date and Mr. Baddoor participated in 3 of them. He wrote an Urdu album named ‘Andhar aaja pyaare bacche’. He also produced Hindusthani patriotic songs (Urdu) and released cassettes such as Thoofan, Naanum Pennalle etc.
Mr. Muhammed Badoor played the lead role in a famous Beary movie named Abba directed by Mr. M.G. Raheem and produced by Capman Media Makers.
